Art Gallery
For the art gallery exercise, we had to take the picture in the middle and place it on each one of the frames in the art gallery. In order to do this, I first had to erase the background of the picture in the middle so that the only thing shown was the picture itself. Then, using the distort tool, I dragged the corners of the picture and resized it to fit on the various frames. The only frame that had to be done differently was the one in the back right corner. For that one, I had to erase half of it to give the effect that some of it was behind a wall.
Mirrored Street
For this exercise, we had to create an illusion that the street in the picture was a mirrored image of the buildings on the left. To do this, we had to make a new layer of the buildings by making a selection around it and copy and pasting. Then, I flipped the picture vertically and then used the skew tool to create the mirrored look. After that, I put in lines to create boxes and then erased some of the boxes to revele the ground underneath so as to recreate the style of the artist who inspired this exercise.
